MEASURE GLASS THICKNESS
IN 5 EASY STEPS
Required Equipment:
Ruler
Card
Toothpick x2
Measure the thickness of your windowpane
(in our case 30mm)
Internal side: measure the gap between the glass to
the window pane (in our case 30mm)
and mark with a pen
Exterior side: measure the gap between the glass to
the window pane (in our case 3mm)
and mark with a pen
Measure the lengths of the marked parts on the toothpicks (in our case 3mm and 4mm)
Calculate your window glass thickness
by using this formula -
Step 1 - Step 2 - 3 = Glass Thickness
(30mm - 3mm - 4mm = 23mm)
